GOD and US
and US...
Our response to God
Since God's love is manifest to us through Jesus in that He as God willingly added humanity to His divinity so He could come to serve and love us to the point of dying for us, then the desired response is that we commit to an on-going relationship with Jesus who is the way to God's presence -- the door to sharing and participation in His joyous God-life.

God's desire for us is that we would freely love Him in return -- not that He needs for us to love Him, but rather because in that relationship with Jesus, He eagerly  blesses us with salvation, His life within us, the Holy Spirit, fulfillment, a more abundant life now, and eternal life in the future.

God desires us to accept Jesus as Lord of our lives and as our personal savior.

God desires that we change our lives and be baptized as a sign of our commitment to Him.

God wants us to be Holy people -- people in whom He dwells and whose lives reflect His loving goodness and glory.

God desires that we maintain fellowship with other Christians so that we can mutually build one another up in faith in God and in our relationship with Him.

God wants us to love one another with an outgoing, serving, caring love.  "A new comandment I give you that you love one another as I have loved you." (John 13:34)

God desires that we be His tools to reconcile the whole world to Himself.
